Designed for high-tonnage, continuous industrial manufacturing, our Heavy-Duty Highway Guardrail Roll Forming Machine is engineered to produce high-strength W-Beam (2-wave) and Thrie-Beam (3-wave) highway crash barriers.

Constructed with an independent gearbox & universal Cardan shaft transmission system and heavy-duty cast-iron arch stands, this machine easily handles heavy-gauge galvanized steel up to 4.0mm thickness without slippage, deformation, or structural flex. Integrated with a precision hydraulic punching and post-cutting unit, it provides a turnkey solution for manufacturing crash barrier systems compliant with international highway safety standards.

Highlights

    • Heavy-Duty Universal Cardan Shaft Drive System Each forming station is driven by individual green gear reducers linked through high-torque red universal joint shafts (Cardan joints). This design guarantees synchronized torque delivery, eliminates chain slack/slippage, and easily handles thick, high-tensile steel plates.

    • 4-Column Hydraulic Post-Cutting Unit Equipped with a robust 4-column guided hydraulic press frame fitted with profile-matched die steel blades (Cr12MoV). It cuts formed W-beams directly at the line end with high shearing force, producing clean, burr-free edges without distorting the finished guardrail profile.

    • Rigid Wallboard Frame & Heavy Welded Base Features a solid structural frame with thick steel wallboard stands mounted on a heavy-duty H-beam welded base. The ultra-rigid architecture absorbs extreme roll-forming forces, minimizes machine flex, and ensures long-term operational stability.

    • Automated High-Precision Line Control Integrated with a Delta PLC control panel and high-resolution rotary encoder. Supports automatic length tracking, continuous slot/hole punching, production counting, and operational error diagnostics.

    • Durable Alloy Steel Rollers Rollers are CNC-machined from premium GCr15 or Cr12 die steel, heat-treated to HRC 58–62°, and hard-chrome plated for maximum resistance to wear and corrosion.
